Donnelly writes about her experience on the 18 hour flight from LA to Singapore on Singapore Airlines flight 19. "I turned by attention to the entertainment options: 29 video-on-demand movies (there will be 60 by APril 1), 77 TV shows, 102 CDs, 12 music channels and even Nintendo games and mah-jong...... Singapore Airlines has done what no other airline has done for years, which is to devote a large expanse of space in the coach section for passengers to mingle... It was so popular that the swells in business class, who had their own area, nonetheless migrated to the hotter meeting place in the back...... As Flight 19 finally touched down in S'pore, some 14,000 km and 18 hrs and 4 minutes after takeoff, the passengers broke out in enthusiastic applause: a little celebration of man and aluminium." Man, I love the writer! And now I really can't wait to be 'imprisoned' in this flying vehicle with 60 movies with AVOD, windowed toilet, spacious seats even for coach, a passenger bar area, lovely flight attendants... it's a care free night yeah, i've still got the whole pile of notes that I don't want to be bothered with but i've got no pressure - and this along is already enough to make me feel better than ever yet, in this state of 'depressurization' i'm really longing for a visit to the pressurized cabin again. especially that on SQ 18/19.
